PENGARUH KONSENTRASI EKSTRAK REBUNG BAMBU BETUNG (Dendrocalamus asper Backer ex Heyne) SEBAGAI ZAT PENGATUR TUMBUH (ZPT) ALAMI BIBIT TEBU (Saccharum officinarum L.)

This research was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of the concentration of bamboo betung shoot
extract (Dendrocalamus asper Backer ex Heyne) which is appropriate as a natural growth regulator sugar
cane seedlings (Saccharum officinarum L.). The research was carried out in the practicum LPP Polytechnic
Yogyakarta, Wedomartani, Sleman, DI Yogyakarta. for 4 months starting in January to April 2019. The
research method uses a single factor randomized block design (RBD) with four levels of soaking treatment of
sugar cane seeds, namely by comparison of water concentration and bamboo shoot extract 1: 2, 1: 4, 1: 6 and
1: 8. Each treatment was repeated 5 times and controlled so that there were 25 plants 1 block. The experiment
used 3 blocks, so there were 75 plants. The results showed immersion of bamboo shoot extract with a
concentration (water: bamboo shoot extract) 1: 4 had advantages in plant height, number of leaves, number
of tillers, stem diameter, root length, root wet weight and root dry weight, from other treatments.
